The conference provided a unique opportunity for government, academic institutions and non-profit organizations in the area of Disability-Inclusive Education to discuss and exchange ideas. Participants includes educators, researchers, postgraduate students, policy makers, stakeholders and communities from SEAMEO member countries as well as internationally. The conference sessions were in the forms of lectures, presentations and exhibitions focusing on Disability-Inclusive Education. Highlights included field-expert keynote speeches, plenary sessions, roundtable discussions and resolutions on important current issues in this region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This third conference featured the theme \u201cElevating Innovation for Sustainable Development of Special Needs Education\u201d and was supported by 17 sub-themes reflecting SEAMEO SEN to increase access and engagement for persons with disabilities. Most importantly, the introduction of innovation to learners with disabilities had significantly given greater learning opportunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 143 full papers were accepted by the review committee and were published in this proceeding. The conference successfully recorded 1,112 attendees which included presenters and participants from around the world. The organizer was extremely honoured to have H.E. Seta Ir.
